The Friends of the WARE Collective (FoWARE) is a registered 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that promotes the preservation and education of traditional arts, crafts and sustainable building methods; and supports the efforts of the WARE Collective in the island nation of Jamaica.

The focus of the organization is to promote the preservation and education of traditional arts and sustainable building/ construction methods for current and future generations.

Comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors, the WARE Collective facilitates non-profit work tied to their core values with volunteers across the island. Their investment ensures that the work proposed is actionable and achievable.

The Friends of the WARE Collective is also comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors who have assembled in the United States to ensure that the projects initiated by entities such as the WARE Collective move from concept to reality. Our mission is to provide financial support while acting as advisory council to the Board of Directors of the WARE Collective.
